Dobby awoke to Arks screaming. She had nodded off at some point during the night when she was supposed to be watching out for Ark and the others. She knew better than to accept any drinks from the dwarves but she hadn't wanted to be rude. The dwarves held they liquor better than she did.
Ark had asked her to stay with her and Verloren in case of an attack from the Shadow Proclamation. Her fear was that they would undo the transformation she had undergone long ago or else cause some other trouble. While Dobby didn't understand exactly all that was going on, she followed because it was her duty as a member of the Alliance Supply Company.
She had originally been asked to come as a healer but had refused. She was not going to risk healing anymore. The world had become more difficult since Deathwing had unleashed his wrath on it. Healing had become much harder, especially for druids. She had been unable to keep up. Unwilling to let her short comings cost the lives of others, she had reluctantly taken to doing damage as a cat. While she did well at this she longed for the day that she would be able to heal again.
Dobby wasn't even sure exactly how she had come to be in this place. She had always been a loner. She had found a home and a family in a guild called Spring Cleaning, but then things started to fall apart. She went from guild to guild never really being part of them. She spent most of her time joining any random group of adventurers who needed an extra person.
On one such occasion she happened to run with a druid by the name of Beldonna. She became friends with her easily, partly because she felt more comfortable about other druids, and partly because of her kind personality. Beldonna introduced her to her sister, a Human Paladin by the name of Verloren. Verloren and Dobby became very close. Running together most days, dobby rarely ran with anyone else. Verloren eventually invited her to join her guild, Alliance Supply Company and she accepted.
While dobby liked the guild she was still new and really didn't know them very well. So when Ark asked her to come with them she was a little hesitant. She didn't trust easy and didn't want to be left behind if something went wrong. She eventually agreed to come as a kitty, but only after Verloren had promised her that the guild would not leave her behind. It was usually easier to do what Verloren wanted anyway as she had a bit of a temper.
So when Dobby awoke to Ark’s screams she instantly started searching for the cause. She was stealthed so as not to alert anyone to her pressence, but she could not see anything. Lucy was still sleeping, although Dobby could not understand how she didn't wake with all the noise Ark was making.
Dobby searched everything in the room but could find nothing to tell her what was causing Ark’s torment. She was just about to wake lucy when a Draenei voice said sweetly “Its ok Ark, its me, Verloren”. Everyone ran in at this point while Verloren convinced Ark that it was really her. Dobby tossed a bucket of water over the sleeping Lucy. "get up these two need to be alone" The now soggy Lucy left the room grumbling threats at her. The others followed. As she left the room Dobby said "nice tail, your not half bad looking.....for a Draenei".
Dobby left the room, knowing she would get her chance to speak with Verloren later. For now, Verloren and Ark needed some time alone.
